DPD fishing SMS scam for parcel redirection with charge.

Said she was from Autodesk or AutoCAD and was looking to speak to accounts as license was due to expire. As we don't use Autocad i got suspicious, then she asked if she was speaking to a certain company, of which i didn't know. This may have been a genuine call where they phoned the wrong company or could have been a scam to try and get a payment. As Autodesk now use 3rd party account managers then you would normally know the person calling you and they would be using the correct names.

Call to my landline at 09:98 on Monday 15 July 2019. No-one there when answered and hung up. Suspected cloned number.

Unknown caller telephoning a TPS registered private number and failing to leave a message. Presumably an illicit sales call or a scammer.

These people want you to answer consumer questions about household goods so they can sell your information to third parties for the purpose of sales. Just don t answer if you ve any sense.

Randomly messaged me saying "Hi number neighbour". Very strange and they only could have got my number through my mobile network provider. Marked as spam and deleted right away.

Questioned me about my pension, was rude, seemed like cold callers requiring my personal details.

Definitely a criminal enterprise. Rang me telling me I should claim the money set aside for me after a crash that they somehow knew I had been in. Very cleverly the got personal details from me including my address, date of birth and national insurance number. They pretend to put you through to a solicitor whilst keeping you on hold for a while... Very well thought out criminal enterprise.. After a couple of days they confirm that you can have the money.. I received a call from this number claiming to be calling from a company (don t remember the name of the company) and is calling in relation to an enquiry that I had made online and asked me to confirm DOB and my address for security purposes. I asked what was the enquiry in relation to? He refused to answer and asked for me to confirm my details first.
