Person calling himself Matthew Taylor rang to speak to my husband allegedly regarding shares my husband has with BP Chemicals. My husband retired from BP many years ago but does hold shares with BP. I asked who are you and what is this about. He hung up.. I realised it was a scam

Hmrc was on phone for 8 minutes and charged £25 and then was cut off

This number called me and said he was from a government department in London and wanted to send someone to survey my insulation. Too many beeps when he finished each sentence and when challenged he hung up. I feel this is a very worrying scam.
