I get, on average, 2 calls a day from this number. Never rings for long, and never leaves a message. Maybe scam!

Scam call for Open Reach. Simply tell them how many appliances you have connected to their network. Then go to your computer as instructed and let them in - job done. Better still, why not give them your bank details along with a few pass codes and make life easy for these scammers.

Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. They were able to give me details about when my phone,that I also have with EE, was due for upgrade as verification that they were actually genuine, as I ve had callers before about phone

here is evidently another round of these tiresome calls, claiming to be from a law firm , regarding an alleged minor car accident. From the accent, it is probably from the Sub-Continent and clearly rather sadly fraudulent. Ignore all protestations to the contrary.

The second option was they will talk me through how to block so I wont be compromised. Told her that I was computer illiterate and could she ring back later and speak to my hubby. PPI company trying to say I was owed thousands in unclaimed PPI. When I said not, the guy just talked over me, then put the phone down when I repeated myself slowly
