Legit PPI company, were calling me back about an ongoing claim but didn t leave a voicemail.

Usual scam. "HMRC re unpaid tax".Phone immediately or else....."
nMy main complaint is that it happened at 8am when we were hoping for a call about a mornin...

I would like to know what area this is l don t recognise this number l didn t answer this call but feel it could ve been a scam

My mobile phone ranfg at 5pm and man at end of phone just said hello and put phone down. Lot of background noise.

male caller quoted guessed personal information and insisted I had agreed to some sort of "Cash back" sheme, having discussed it at my door 2 months ago - wanted to confirm my postcode etc. When I denied ever speaking or agreeing to this he hung up on me mid conversation

Rang at 6.30pm - I didn t recognise number so let ansafone take it - they didn t leave a message. I checked on this site to see who they were, so when the same number rang again at 7.20pm I answered (to wind them up!). A very polite sounding chap with an Indian (or similar) accent explained that he was carrying out a survey for ???????? (illegible) and asked me to confirm that my telephone number was ********** (which was obviously correct as he d just rung it!). He then asked me to confirm that my name

Annoyingly persistent. Such calls should be banned. Nobody wants them and I understand from other sites that these people are scammers.

This number called bu hung up when I answered.

Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. 4 missed calls within 1 hour. Eventually when i answered wanted to help me get more from my pension when i said that was strange as i didnt have one, what company is this pension with he ended the call with i dont have that information

Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.
