Had a call today from this number.... Just missed the call so rang back. Answerphone said all advisors are busy etc etc, but no company name given.
SCAM Says he is from Google maps and wants to know opening hours. Unlikely story, since all our details are already on our Google business account. As if Google would make unsolicited personal calls. Silly scammer.

Voice mail message stating it was my bank and that they had noticed that I was using amazon prime and if I wanted to stop this service press 1 to speak to their amazon service desk. Needless to say I didn’t press 1 as I don’t use amazon prime. I also rang my bank and they confirmed it was a scam.
Just had a very shady call, would only speak to the owner. There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.

The usual mid afternoon silent call, the distinctive mark and likeness of incompetent Indian scammers, nothing missed here for sure and that s without a single word being heard, even the number spoofing was a bit half assed although at least they got the format right for all that s worth.

Said they were from BT and were going to cancel Broadband, installed anywhere desktop access software and installed Trojan Gen 5 to gain access to a bank account. Thankfully the bank saw it as a large amount and blocked the transaction

SCAM Didn't get a call from this number but it is shown on a small value (£0.94) package received in the post this morning where the addressee is not known at this address. Spoke to the Company which was quoted on the package as sender - One World Economy - and they have confirmed that they are a forwarding company for E-bay and were asked to send this on behalf of a Chinese company. Seem soo be a brushing scam as another package also received this morning from a different sender egis time value £0.08.

So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond!
