PPI/Bank Charges claim company. Latest one is Endowment Policies. Aside from just hanging up, I find the best course of action with these guys is to just lie to them. Give them made-up details so they waste their time with fruitless nonsense. Tell them you paid PPI on a Swiss bank account with ?10m in funds given to you by a Nigerian prince. Keep calm and tell absurd lies, and this kind of call actually starts to be a lot of fun!

Search for an app on your app store called "Blacklist" (There s a few to choose from) It s free and I use it to block all of these nuisance calls and texts. Scam. An Answering machine with a fairly high-quality voice that pretends to be an insurance agent and wants information from you about participation in a car accident.
Weird one, I got a sales call from a Liverpool number to my mobile who seemed just as confused as I was as they swore they actually dialled this number (01517060251). Have absolutely no idea which part of it is a scam. It's definitely weird. Googled the number and nothing came up.
SCAM - Told them to take a number off the list as the person has a memory dissorder. Have called daily after that, telling it is the first time they call. Different numbers, but same person called back right after from this number. She called from RCN Investments and if that is true, that she called because the person wrote her number at THEIR webpage- then they have sold the number to several other companies, because the phone is calling several times a day after the day she register on a web-page.
