Guy from Yell cold calling
Overseas noisy background call centre female claiming to be from ‘the technical department’ not a specific company just technical department. Red flags were didn’t know my name or address. I challenged her told her she was talking rubbish about being a technical department. I used a few choice profanities to which she called me a few! I asked her if those were technical terms and she hung up! Obvious scamming call. The call was at 08:45 on a Saturday.

Fraud The friendly female operator claimed I had agreed to sponsor a school anti bullying campaign last February 2020, and they were calling to ask which schools I wanted the booklets to go into. I had never agreed to this, I know every charity and campaign I have supported over the years so I knew this was a scam. I Imagine if i had been pulled into their scam and talked about which schools, they would then ask me to pay my contribution by asking for my card details.

SCAM I don't know who this company is but they are ARSEHOLES. I answered, they asked to speak to *my name*, I said "who's calling" , they said "good afternoon *my name* I'm Alex how are you today?" , I said "which company are you and why are you calling me?" He then MIMICKED me like a primary school child and hung up. What a sad life to have, working for a scumbag scam company bullying people on their own phone numbers.

When I told him twice I was not interested he became abusive and started telling me to fuck off he had other customers waiting to make money and to stop wasting his time. I get calls on this number supposedly from Assured Protection when I answer the call it is silent for a moment and then I hear a message that the call is from Assured Protection and that no call handlers are available to take "your" call. Using the word "your" call is making it seem that the person being called has called them when in fact it is these clowns who are making the calls, obviously using some call handling software randomly dialing phone numbers.

Constant daily calls - sometimes 3 times a day. Washing machine insurance. Never bothered to answer having read all the other peoples comments. Thank Gad for Call Blocking on Android & with other 3rd party apps (Mr. Number is the best app). If it s ever an important call - they can leave a voicemail!!
