Asked for a name that was not mine. Then said my number had asked for details of doing the lottery. Told them i hadn't and hung up.

Just another SPAM call. Hangs up when it gets an answer machine. Really would like to identify these folk - and do something really painful to them.

Silent call

Just spoken to O2 regarding this number and the calls my wife had been getting. They confirmed that the number does belong to O2 and is not a scam, it is their Customer Research (for want of a better description) calling to ensure she was getting the right deal for her and to see if she wanted to upgrade, so I suppose they re Market Research/Sales. Perfectly safe to answer. If in doubt, just don t give answers to questions you feel uncomfortable about.

Life insurance cold caller

Phoned my Dad with the same Microsoft rubbish quoting a serial number and saying that they would disable his computer, my Dad hung up but they rang straight back. He told them to go ahead and try to disable the computer but nothing happened. He asked for the guy s name and number and he said he was Peter Connor and quoted this number. Someone must be able to track down these scum, wherever in the world they are and lock them up!

Trying to sell loans for a ?65 fee.

Usual scam. "HMRC re unpaid tax".Phone immediately or else....."
nMy main complaint is that it happened at 8am when we were hoping for a call about a mornin...

Boa noite Não sei se estou me direcionando ao local ou ao número certos, porém, tenho recebido através deste número (11) 111251176 ou (11) 125117611, vários telefonemas em dias e horários diferentes, inclusive finais de semana e feriados, tendo a necessidade até de desligar o telefone. Quando vamos atender a ligação do outro lado ninguém fala nada, tentei ligar várias vezes para este número sem sucesso. This number called me three times today as I was out I did a redial when I came in and got the unknown number message.

It's a scam

I have had repeated call about 10 per day from the same number, 2 types of calls 1. as per above , that i owe money on credit cards 2. that the government has set up an scheme where they are freezing monthly interest payments on CC or store cards and if you have these cards you can just make a monthly payment to them instead . as i am a financial advisor i keep them talking for ages (appearing to be a bit non financial) after all it runs up their phone bill, then i wrap them in knots using my knowledge,
