Indian accent, claiming to be from O2 offering 30% discount on your plan. They try to trick you by submitting a 'forgotten password' command onto your account. You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. They try to convince you that's the 'discount activation code' and ask you to give it to them, presumably to hack your account while on the phone to you. Do not give them anything! Fraud

This is BT text service notifying you that soemone has sent a SMS to your home phone number which it will subsequently read if your home phone is not SMS enabled. A pain as it doesn t seem to be limited to reasonable hours. I don t remember telling Parcelforce that I wanted a 6AM wakeup call, I seem to remember ordering an item and receiving an email with tracking info saying they were going to deliver it. I ve been getting several calls a day not just from this number, but from others, too - or sometimes they come up as "unavailable" or "international". All of them are from people with an Indian accent saying that they are calling to fix a problem with my PC and quickly become very rude when questioned. I have an answerphone, so have now stopped picking up. This is obviously some kind of scam
