HMRC does not ring to speak to private individuals. It does not operate that way. Shame on whoever is doing that

They have rang twice this morning. First caller in an Indian accent started speaking to the wife about checking the internet router whilst I picked up another phone. Then when I asked who he was from he called me a “F**king Bastard and rang off. Second caller just rang off without getting abusive. And we let these people into this country !!!!
This caller did leave a message, but since they then cleared, it's impossible to say who they are.
