Have had a number of messages left by Dee, supposedly to do with HMRC. Returned call to see what it was about, the person i spoke to asked a lot of questions about HMRC and supplier debt, as well as our turnover. Obviously didn t give them any information! All sounded a bit suspicious!

I ve been getting constant calls from this number which have gone "dead" when I pick up for weeks. Yesterday they finally told me they were from Vodaphone and my number was one of their numbers so they needed it back. They needed to move me to their contract. When I said it had never been a Vodaphone number they then said would anyone else I know be interested!

Fake car accident call. Did not understand the reasons neither the interest behind this.

Asian guy asking me about my postcode. After repeated asking what call was about he says he s from the HR of UK. Then when pressed he says it s for a company with similar name as the one I work for! Then starts asking about what mobile phone I prefer. Hung up! Total scam!

Scam. American type accent called about an accident I supposedly had. I ve only had my phone number for a week and only given it out out my Mum so I guess they re calling random numbers, or all the numbers between two real ones - in either case they don t have the details of any accident.

Called on the half hour (which is a dead giveaway for cold callers) - not payign attention so I hung up. Why do they do it? Wasting my time as well as theirs and I m not likely to answer a second time am I?? (barred call)

A woman with a West African accent phoned me at 4.30 pm on 12th July 2012. She asked me how my "claim" was progressing and whether she could help. Obviously a telemarketing call because there was the usual buzz of conversation in the background. The annoying thing is that I m on the Telephone Preference List of people who should *NOT* be contacted by telemarketers. Unfortunately, it doesn t seem to have worked in this case. I explained to the lady that I was on the TPS and that she should not be calling me,
