Said he was from windows HQ and my computer was about to crash. He told me to press windows key and the "r" key and follow instructions. If I did not accept the help he was offering Windows would not be responsible for the damage done to my computer.

SCAM - I had a missed call & voicemail from this number. The voicemail was a recorded message in a male American voice asking to call back on the number. They called again, so I answered. SCAM, just got a call from this mobile number claiming it was the HRMC calling - automated of course, saying that a fraudulent claim had been put against my name and I have to press 1 to get connected as other wise I will be arrested shortly! Sick these people! I put the phone down and then rang that number back, and of course no reply!
