Called seemingly to confirm delivery details and then discussed the extended warranty as though it was free and asked me to confirm bank details. I was uncomfortable doing so over the phone so he provided lots more info about me but I then said I d prefer to at least discuss with my partner before signing up: cue the hard sell! I maintained I will discuss it and can can call back only for him to get exasperated and put the phone down on me. Quite rude!

Insulation: A man named Tom claiming to be telling be about the poor quality of my loft insulation and how a recent survey has noticed that it needs improving. When I asked him to confirm what the address was that he was calling about, he just ignored me and continued with his script, but when I asked again he just ended the call. Total scam call, and sorry for those who take notice of what he says.

SCAM - Fake caller pretending to BT to get remote access to your computer and files. Once access is gained, they delete your files and demand credit card details in order to restore them. The method of paying via credit card is though an online 'Moneygram' form meaning they then have your card details and can take all your money. They also do not give you your files back. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER, IT IS AN ILLEGAL SCAM.

I was called by this number this morning. They told me they were calling regarding my licence from MICROSOFT being lapsed. They told me they would be able to renew my licence and could show me how to remove hackers from my laptop. I allowed these people access to my laptop thinking I was removing the hackers and viruses from the laptop. They gained access to my files and I have had money removed from my bank account (now closed).
Didn't answer. Blocked.
