Scam call starting with automated message about suspicious VISA transactions. I selected the option to talk to someone. They could not explain who they represented, and started asking for my details. When I asked them to verify who they were, they hung up.

Just had a call from this number, saying they were from the Debt Support Group and that I was due to reduce my outstanding payments on my debt!! When I told them that they were incorrect as I had no debt and I asked where they got my details from, they put the phone down. It really annoys me that these people have not got the decency to tell you where they received the information and give you the chance to ask them to remove your details from their database. Grrrrr!!!!

Persistent offender of harassment calls. Uncle Buck Finance LLC. They disguise their caller id using literally dozens of different numbers, all of which transfer to collections. It means you cannot easily use a call blocker to filter out these calls. But keep adding their numbers to your blocker, does help. When challenged to identify themselves, they state they are calling from UB. Ask for the full company name and corporation number, ICO number and FCA registration number for identification purposes.

this number called me with a recorded message that there is an HMRC case against me for fraud and I have to "press 1" to get put through to them and if I don't I'll be arrested shortly. There were errors in English and not a human being so I hung up. But be warned as this phone number is not showing anywhere as a scam number but it obiously is.

Do not have anything to do with this company my elderly mother was conned out of ?149.99 by them pretending to be British gas that was back in January . Several phone calls and letters later and still not recieved any money back. Please beware do not answer your phone.

Idiot told me off "Why are you answering the phone if you are not person in question?". How the FU*K do I know who and why is calling without answering???? He hung up on me. Called my work phone, didn't ask for me by name just gave the usual 'been in an accident that wasn't your fault spiel'. I told her this was my work phone, please take me off a database. She ignored me and asked again if I had been injured, I said no, she asked if my family has been, I said no, please remove me from your database because this is my work phone and if I had been in an accident, it would have been my personal number... then she hung up. RUDE!!

SCAM automated call! This number called - I didn't answer as I didn't recognise it. My voicemail picked up part of an automated recorded message, seemed to be telling me to press 1 or my National Insurance number would be 'switched off' and I would no longer be able to use it. Possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard but sadly some people will panic and do as they're told!
