Called twice today. Answered 2nd call - "Mike (Punjabi) Smith", from 'BT'. Foreign person using my IP address for illegal purposes - would need to disconnect my internet for 5 days. Told me to hit CTRL+R and Windows key and enter something. I played along (doing NOTHING on my laptop, but then asked him, "You say this is coming from my IP address - then you can tell me what it is!?". He gave me a random number from hos head, I guess. Harrats in Wakefield. I regularly get calls from this number, and every time I request my number be deleted permanently from their records. Never works. I have threatened them with taking it to the data commissioner, next time they call I will ask to be put in touch with a senior manager and express to them that they are breaking the law by ignoring to take head of my request to be removed from their database and never be contacted
