Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - surveys, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8439939xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?

I just took a call on my mobile from this company stating the overpayment from 2002 to 2009 they knew my married name and my new phone number, obviously during these years stated i was not married and didn’t have this number - i started to question the guy Adam who started to get agitated with me, i asked that they contact me by post so i could verify who they were as i am not willing to give out my personal details to willie nillie over the phone who then forwarded me to another guy again called Adam w

just received a letter from the DWP requesting bank details so they can pay my pension into it instead of the post office.if this is a scam, it's a b****y clever, very convincing one. it was accompanied by a letter in the same post from the post office telling me I could close my card account with them free of penalty, though it's not the type of a/c that incurs penalties. the letter even quotes my national insurance number at the top. very clever of two big organisations to hit the same postal delivery tog
