I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. Answered call and voice identified himself as Energy advisor in area and asking to confirm as householder. Feeling polite, I responded yes but do not entertain cold calls and asked to end call. The voice continued making me believe it is voice-activated and not to be trusted. I put the phone down.

Automated message left telling me there was a £300 and £1000 charge on my card. (No mention of which card). This was incorrect and therefore message is most likely a scam.

SCAM ...said he was from O2 wanting me to upgrade phone and contract. Put me on to female supervisor when I said no! Said she would text me a code to prove who she was... I just watched the scam baiters on YouTube and this is just what the scammers do. Do not fall for it. Contact the company yourself if you want to upgrade!

SCAM - "NC Power" claiming to be our provider (Gazprom) trying to confirm information as next month's billing will be wrong. Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!

Claimed to be ringing from NHS and started by saying Good Afternoon and this was at 08:46 so rang alarm bells anyhow. I cut him off after he apologised and said sorry Good Morning

This number calls claiming to be from HMRC, they say they have discrepancies in your tax return and your national insurance number will be suspended if they are not correct. At this point I hung up.

This number call me to Portugal. I don't know any people who live in England, so i google it and saw its a number who sails financial products. Seems a scheme

I am getting phone calls from this number with a recorded message saying there are suspicious transactions on my bank account and it is asking to press 1 to authorize or 2 to speak to customer services. I did not press either. I called back the number and the lady that answered said this phone number has been hacked and I should ignore any calls from it.

An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.

This call referred to an Amazon Card (which I don't have) and an international money transfer of £300. None of which is relevant. Sounds threatening. Have had this before but on a different number.
