Yawn - another cold call from someone whose services I have no interest in. And another cold call from someone when I m on TPS. If I had the patience, I d report the lot of them for breaking the law, but then I d be spending all my time filling in forms with the ombudsman.

My TRUECALL device received a call from 01924215367 today. Its operating system would have asked who is calling before asking me whether I wished to accept the call. I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!

received call from this number asian sounding chap allegedly from my internet service provider pur phone down be careful this smaaks of a scam

keeps calling at odd times of day when i m not at home, suggesting overseas caller. Number does not ring if i callback, dead line, suggesting phantom number masked and therefore assume to be a phishing number from africa or overseas. Give NO personal details and tell them to *uck off!!!

Repeated phone calls, answered some of them and sounds like a call centre in the background but hang up immediately without saying anything. Return calls not answered. I am on the TPS.

I got a text from what looked like my bank (Santander), saying a lot of money was being taken from my account. It gave this number 03333443057 to call. I called, and they answered HSBC ! I said I thought I was calling Santander, they said I work for both banks (yeah, right!). I said let me have your name and department, I ll call my bank and ask to be put through to you, at which point they promptly hung up.

Called earlier today. Didn t pick up as I didn t recognise the number. Whomever it was didn t leave a message, I expect it was either the Amazon or Microsoft scam.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened.
