I am a bit confused. They called in asking to check the Fibre Glass on our roof for health and safety inspection. They knew my surename but never mentioned my first. The chap on the phone spoke very fast, couldnt get a hold of company name or anything like that.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Had a missed call from this number although it was not possible to call the number back. Unusual.....
Male with Asian accent says he s from UK Helpline , calling my mobile about the "unsecured debt that you have and that you are managing alone, is that correct?" My number is TPS registered. These people have rung from various 016 numbers over the past months, I don t have unsecured debt and have told them to stop ringing, but they don t. Don t seem to have any of my personal information, pure cold nuisance calls.
Has called my mobile 5 times in 2 days but doesn't leave message.

Very aggressive scam caller pretending to be from BT reporting a virus on our PC and wanting us to follow their instructions online to fix it. Clearly a scam but became very threatening when we wouldn’t do what they wanted us to. Phoned back several times and left aggressive messages on answer phone.

Someone called my mobile from this number 02087258118, using an automated voice, saying they were going to suspend my National Insurance number because of unusual activity!! Very threatening and loud voice saying I had to ring back this number immediately. To me that sounds like a scam because anything serious and legal they would have phoned and spoken to me and sent an email. Its twice now that my mobile number has been contacted by scammers and its getting really annoying.
