Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. didn't answer - call came from Pontefract. I called back on my landline and no ring tone, so blocked number.

Obviously been sold my number by IQoption binary trading company. I messed him about for a while, saying I was independently wealthy, he was very persistent, I hung up eventually.

Rang me three times this week asking for Mr Woodward. Told them wrong number the first time. The third time she started saying well this call may be of interest to you. I told them no it isn t. At no point did they introduce themselves.

This number called me and it turned out to be Southampton Audi arranging an MOT. It was odd that it showed up as as a Portsmouth area code though, maybe they use a call center now.

Trying to go on about back end of my website and issues with google, had a spare few minutes, so kept them on the phone for 15 mins, told them all about my garage, my spider monkeys, (one got out while I was on the phone), explained how we trained them to drive cars by feeding them wine gums, all in all a fun conversation

Recorded message on answer phone from "talk talk" stating that internet connection has been compromised, never had a contract with talk talk !!

Phoned saying we heard you were in a car accident, automated voice sounding very like a real person, until they reply to something you haven t said
