SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. Not leaving message on answer phone
Asian accented guy called claimed to be from Virgin Media. Problem with my internet connection. Press the Windows key and type in certain things he'd show me and then fix it. I strung him along for a while. Supervisor tried the same. When I refused he said my internet connection would be switched off. I enjoyed our chat as while he was talking to me he couldn't be trying to con anyone else. He told me to f*** off. That confirmed he wasn't from Virgin as they don't usually end calls like that!
