SCAM I leave my answerphone on permanently for call screening. This number called this morning and the recorded message must have started before the answerphone greeting had finished with the result that I only got a very small part of the message left. Something about billing. So obviously a scam. Number now barred. By coincidence I had a very similar call earlier from 020249714939. Probably the same idiots. Also barred

Male caller rang from this number at lunchtime today. A bit of a waffle introduction, but eventually got round to the subject - an invitation to a free financial seminar (apparently people are really interested in it because of low interest rates). But he declined any request to put his information pack in the post to me. Pretty sure its a scam that should be avoided.

17 Feb 2021 - I have recieved a call from this number today, a couple of weeks ago i had a conversation with someone who wanted access to my property to change the meter. I contacted EON and they confirmed that was not anything wrong with the meter and they did not know why I had had that call. Reply

TAXES / HMRC States that an arrest warrant has been issued in your name due to avoidance of taxes etc.. I believe this to be a scam call, which I am totally sick to the back teeth of. Number has been blocked on several occasions but somehow manages to get back through.

They called me in Greece and told me they re from Microsoft, although I don’t own a MS pc. Only a MacBook pro. At least he was polite enough to say it was mistake. Forgiven my amateur Hacker friend ????

They call me constantly, sometimes hanging up straight away other times if I answer its about PPI. I now play around with them. My record is 25 mins waiting for me to find fictitious paperwork... they hang up... I know people dont have time to mess around but i work nights so i quite enjoy it. Fraud Pretending to be HSBC, where I have fell for a scam of Royal Mail Parcel being held for insufficient postage, they have called for my card number and old details, and trying to tell me that there is a fraud activity in Manchester, and tried to ask me for new address, I know instantly, this is the people who has phished my bank account details.

Clearly an illegal marketing scam. They think of anybody s name when they call and then, when you say you aren t them, they just carry on, saying that what they are selling will probably interest you anyway. Con merchants.
