Caller says he / she is from Amazon and would like to auto renew prime subscription. Then asks you to turn on your computer and to allow them to connect. I kept them going for a while, then asked their name and a contact number - they hung up. It was an indian accent.

Phoned to offer me a fully qualified surveyor to check my windows and doors for any unnecessary heat loss and just leave me that information, plus if there s anyone between ages of 58 and 85 living in the house we will also qualify for the funding , just to keep for the future as a sort of lifeline if you like if we do decide to change anything in the future. Automated call bot that said it was from tax office and I was being investigated for fraud and an arrest warrant issued. I pressed the number on to learn more information and the guy who connected wanted personal info to confirm my identity. Thought it was a scam after that and it turns out I was right. Glad the phone cut off when it did.
