SCAM / SPAM This must be a scammer as I had to go to voicemail to find out who it was and it is someone claiming to be from HMRC and asking me to press number keys for more information. This would most likely divert me to another number and leave me open to some kind of fraud. Number now blocked. If it really is HMRC they have my address and email address.

Will promise you to make make huge profit but all bullshit. they are intrensing in your money. SCAM automated call from 07946593914. Claiming my national insurance number has been compromised and possible fraud. They then asked me to press 1. I put phone down straight away a googled the type of call which looks to be a growing issue as a scam.
This number called our landline on 16/8/18 at 6pm. We didn't recognise number so guessed it was a scammer.

The same recorded message about them "urgently trying to contact me". Energy related, mentions solar panels too, and concludes by saying they are UK based and government funded. The recording always states that you can press 2 to talk free to their adviser, but I never do in case this is redirected to a premium-rate number. I ve reported it to the ICO numerous times. Sometimes the same message arrives without a return number. Wish I knew how to stop this.
