I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. At first, it seemed there was someone telling me my loft wasn't properly insulated and trying to sell loft insulation. When I asked a question and he didn't respond, I realised it was a recording. Just another nuisance caller. I notice I would be charged 9p/min if I called them back.

Clear English accent. Told me that I had been spying on his wife and taking pictures of her and that he variuosly intended to fill me in and report me to the police. I have a feeling that it was an automated voice response system as I stopped speaking a couple of times and after a pause the voice came back witht he same phrase trying to find out if I was still there.
