An Indian sounding gentleman on a very bad line, claimed to be calling me from Currys PCWorld with a promotion to upgrade my cellphone (his term) for no charge, could I just confirm what phone I currently had? Claim to be from BT Openreach about issues with our router. Shame we’re not with that company. She kept insisting that even though we weren’t with them she needed to tell us about these issues with her router. When I challenged her about the fact that it was a scam and how could she live with herself and that BT had nothing to do with our router and couldn’t see our router she stuck to her guns that she was legit and needed to tell us what was happening with our router. I just hung up.

Received a call 14th Feb 2023. It showed up as suspected spam but call ended quickly whilst I was still thinking about whether to answer. Probably was company offering to get us money back for timeshare purchase. A recent call also showed as suspected spam turned out to be from garage confirming my appointment with them.
