I suspect it s a fishing exercise to gather info we may seem to think is harmless but gives clues to passwords bank details and so on the first question was who do I bank with and do I bank online I am deeply suspicious of anyone asking about any of my financial details unsolicited as banks don t call asking my details so no-one else should either

The business directory phones my office about 6 times a day. Most of the time they wait until I answer before they simply hang up. Other times they ask for my company details. They don t even ask if I want to advertise. Despite referring this to their complaint department they still continue to bombard me with calls. This is now harassment

These people started calling our new business before we even advertised, just from the directory entry that Xln (our phone and internet provider) had kindly entered us into. They start off, if they talk, by making out they are official, telling you that they need the meter number as it has flagged up on their system as out of contract. Woman claims to be calling from E for Energy and says they are working for Zanussi Electrical. This seems to be untrue. The woman is trying to sell me a new boiler through a government scheme. The woman has rung me repeatedly 8 times today. Do not trust this company and report them to Zanussi.
