Clear English accent. Told me that I had been spying on his wife and taking pictures of her and that he variuosly intended to fill me in and report me to the police. I have a feeling that it was an automated voice response system as I stopped speaking a couple of times and after a pause the voice came back witht he same phrase trying to find out if I was still there.
This organisation is constantly calling touting for car accident claims and promising being able to claim several thousands of pounds in injury awards. This is inspite of having explained on many occasions that I received no injury. Their sole aim is to encourage people to make fraudulent claims and they in turn pocket fat fees. Such actions only increase motor insurance costs across the country. They should be legally charged with attempted fraud and punished if found guilty.

Scam number.? Automated call the NCA advising National Insurance Number has been used for fraudulent purpose and to press 1 and speak to advisor.
SCAM: same area in Manchester from which several similar phone numbers come from. Only lets your phone ring for a short time and never leave a message. Don't call back unless you are looking for trouble! Thank goodness for answer phones and caller ID.

SCAM Claiming to be from BT Openreach returnign my call requesting to terminate my IP address due to inactivity. Unusual, they didnt put phone down as soon as I mentioned call prefernce sevrice, no junk calls and going to report the number.... quite a determined one. Keep getting missed calls. Called back, said it was API telecoms. No idea who or what they are.
First they rang home number. We have call screening so not a problem. As soon as called rejected they called my mobile number. Both phones are registered with TPS so shouldn t happen

The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. Called me claiming to be from Sky, informing me that malicious individuals are trying to hack my router. I played dumb and allowed them to get to the part where they wanted me to install TeamViewer to gain access to my computer. I gave them an earful about preying on vulnerable people, but it will have had zero effect; I just hope I cost them more money in call charges than they were expecting.

Automated call From local number. Message said fraudulent transaction has been found on VISA, press 1 to cancel this transaction. After hanging up at this point, the caller appeared to stay on the line for a couple of minutes to catch me making an outgoing call to my bank. Verified this by calling my landline from a mobile which rang engaged, a short time later I tested my landline again and it was clear.
