Answerphone PPI message from Berwick-on-Tweed area. Henceforth they will appear on my display as Spam-32. When I reach Spam-100, I will speak to the caller and congratulate them.

asking for bank details pin number etc, posing as a ppi company, said i had taken out loans??? altough i have not taken a loan. very strange asian people. SCAM

Called me and then the usual number of 0161 850 1033 came up, so they must be connected. Hard sell company trying to make out a windfall amount of cash from a non-fault accident is yours and is simply dying to drop in to your lap. Avoid.

So far in the past week I have had 13 calls from these people. Thankfully I have a CPR Call Blocker fitted on my phone line, so now I don t even hear the phone ring. They do seem to be very persistent though. Hopefully they will realise soon they aren t going to get anywhere with my number and give up.

These are debt collection agents they work for HMRC and are relentless threatening and pushy.

Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. She said she was sorry, again I told her no she wasn t. She said she d take my number off the list. Do they even have a list or do they just randomly ma

Call in the middle of the day. Didn t recognise the number or expect a call so didn t pick up.

Calls from this number received two days running. Tried returning call but unsuccessful. First call nothing heard. Second call talk of someone having an accident.

I receive calls all the time but nobody is on the other end...

Genuine line but some scam is pretending to be their number on incoming call display.

Just received a call from these people claiming to be providing access to some sort of discount club and that they would send a welcome pack in the post. They asked how many holidays I have a year and whether they are abroad or not (in hindsight maybe that’s to determine disposable income). They asked who I bank with and I refused to answer.
