I am posting my comments on the company who own this number, not because they have been calling me but because they sent me a brochure for 30 days free trial on holidays. The enclosed letter stated that if I did not cancel within the 30 days ?99.99 would be debited from my account for the annual membership. When I was originally called regarding this I as told that they were sending this out to me and that if I didnt want it I could "put it in the bin". I got a call this morning from this same and it sounded like an Indian person on the other line asking for my name and then it immediately dropped. I call back the number and the voice note confirmed that the number has been theft from another user and is now been used for SCAM and that none shouldn’t entertained it. I’ve now blocked this number on my phone. SCAM

SCAM - beware if a supposed family member sends a WhatsApp message saying they’ve lost their phone and that this is their new number. Whoever it was tried to scam 4K from me by pretending to be my son in trouble. Luckily the amount was too much to even think about sending it without speaking to him. So please please make sure you know who you’re talking to. If it had been a smaller amount I may have considered sending it.

This caller claims to be calling from BT Openreach stating that someone tried has changed the IP address of my computer. The caller is highly argumentative and continued to try and push a false narrative, even though I made them aware I knew it was a scam. I hung up, blocked the number and reported it to BT. Please note BT OPENREACH DOES NOT CALL CUSTOMERS.
