I am on telephone Pref list. No idea how they got my number- they are based in Liverpool- ban them- prosecute them - get them on the airways

two calls a day for last thee days, silent on answering on all but fourth call,seemed to be about finance, asked them not to call again.

Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?
