Had a missed call. Called back and was told it was EE and that no further action was required! Strange ... maybe they were testing the number to make sure it was still in use for further nuisance calls!

Unsolitited cold call claiming that it had come to their attention that I had had an accident and made a claim on my policy. This was a blatant lie. Nothing more than a cold calling hard faced scam.

This firm have been ringing me a few times for a survey, I told him I didn t do surveys I was polite but the firm are ringing me 8 am in the morning which is worrying as I have elderly parents. Just been called today my heart is racing thinking something had happened. Not amused

Number has called me several times too, on answering it immediately goes dead on ringing back it is blank and then goes dead.

These people started calling our new business before we even advertised, just from the directory entry that Xln (our phone and internet provider) had kindly entered us into. They start off, if they talk, by making out they are official, telling you that they need the meter number as it has flagged up on their system as out of contract. This number keeps calling my elderly mother pretending its about a loan she had. They keep providing her with info like date of birth, asking her to confirm expecting her to provide the correct one. When I ring this number it says it is an old number. My 11 year old was with her when they last called and he said they were very pushy and kept asking her to confirm bank details.
