This number shows as International and 01274792012... Said it was a quick survey, I asked where they got my details from and they said public source. They knew my name, address, postcode and phone number. Fairly obvious that they are identifying opportunities for onward selling. I think the only reason I have a home phone these days is for junk/spam calls. Another one for the block list.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". Automated message telling me my national insurance number is being suspended because it has been linked to various illegal activity and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer if I want to avoid my property being seized and myself arrested. They must think I was born yesterday as I have no intention of pressing 1 where I suspect I would be asked for lots of personal information and a payment to clear a debt I don’t have.
