SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
Got a call from this number, the person added me on skype asking to place an ad on gumtree for them. Very pushy and harassing, went through with it as far as I could just for fun. Initially made out they were calling on behalf of Vodafone about an early upgrade on my phone but when I asked again if they were Vodafone and I was told they were Future Comms who work alongside Vodafone and the other major networks. I told them no thanks, and ended the call. (Now blocked.) She was very polite though and not pushy.

This is a Leeds number which I thought might be someone I know. I called back: straight on to music. Now barred.

SCAM. It could be that the caller ID is being spoofed as also showed 02036126009 at exactly the same time. This may well actually well be from overseas as was an Indian sounding woman with a lot of background call centre noise. And after lots of 'hello's', they eventually mentioned they were calling about BT-Openreach Internet - Which I don't have, so when I said I know this is a scam, they just hung-up!

They wanted my name and telephone number for security, I said you must know my number as you have called me. I was offered a number to call back on but I just said thanks but no I am with Talktalk and do not have an order with Sky. Goodbye.

I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.
