This is a scam the advisor claimed to be Amazon Security.

Was called by this number which was automated. Informing me that my Amazon Prime was being renewed and that money would be taken from my bank account and to press 1 to speak to the Service Manger. Assess this as a Scam as I do not have Amazon prime.

SCAM ambulance chasers that don't even know if there's been an ambulance! Get a call from them every few days, consistent script: "We're calling from the Legal Department of MAUK" (there is a website for mauk.uk but no listing in Companies House, and the directory for the building in Reading they claim to be in doesn't include any such entity). I keep reporting the calls to ICO and TPS. You'd think the imbeciles would give up - it's been going on for years.

Definite scam. I looked up Starpro - Aberdeen. They call off different numbers all based in Aberdeen and there's loads of people stating that they were scam artists trying to claim to be a phone company and asking for details.
02394313280 called 21 Dec 22 at 14:59hrs, no message left. Some searches list it as QA hospital Portsmouth. Some searches listed by QA employees confirm the source but not the purpose.. Might have been genuine but they'll call again if it is so?
Claimed to be calling from O2 sales department offering '40% discount on your call'. When I asked the person to provide an email address, didn't want to pursue the call further. I had a call on 1/30/2023 from 44+ 0141 628 5948 and the phone number I was a scam they was trying to see what company I was with on my sim card and they was trying to get my bank details because they said my iPhone been hacked and I need a new one and they wanted my bank details.

This number is used to scam people out if money on Whats App. It will pretend to be a family member and ask you to talk on What’s App only and then ask to lend money for Christmas presents because they have been locked out of their banking app. Always ask for information that will verify that you are actually talking to your family member or they will play a clever game and scam you out if your cash. They tried to get £940 off me!! This has been reported to What’s App.
