Court action was now under way. Press 1 to speak to an officer." I did this immediately, and a man with a near Asian accent, politely asked;"Can I help you?"

01182-308128 -308140 -302112 are all scams. Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! These are computer generated calls searching for voice lines. If you answer "hello" or "anything else", the line will be logged as a 'VOICE LINE' and you'll get called back later by a con-artist! If your phone rings and you don't recognize the number DON'T SPEAK! JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anything & the line then goes dead then you've just successfully escaped being scamme

Just received a text from this number that began 'Morning Mum...' (I'm not a Mum!) and the text said that they are calling from a friends phone and their battery is about to expire so please call them back. There is no name of either the sender or the friend or the reason why they are calling so I suspect it's a scam. Please be cautious if you receive this message

I had a phone call from this number today (25/02/2022-17:17) (0161-520-1872 !!!) The person on the line asked for me by name. Which seem very odd to me. As this is a number that I did not know. A scammer just called me with an automated voice saying that I bought an iphone from Amazon and if I want to put a stop to this purchase to press 1, I pressed 1 and went through to a weirdo breathing on the phone I asked him to remove my number from their list and he said 'no because you are really cute', I said I will report this number to the police and he said he will report my number to the police because 'you called me'. A total weirdo who is not only a scammer but really rude too.
