Fraud Said they were from Amazon and a suspect order had been made on my account = however they were calling me by my wife's maiden name - no such Amazon account exists! Hung up. Person was Asian sounding lady.

This person identifies himself as Thomas from Adobe and has called us over and over to the point of harassment. He has been told that we wont put his call through to the person he wants to speak to as they don’t want his call. He tries to intimidate his way through, then sits mimicking me down the phone line and finally he leaves the line connected so nobody else can call us. The number even though a local number (0203 655 7035) has connections to India and the guy speaking has an Indian accent.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. Received call from this number claiming to be "The Preservation Advisory Service", saying that an article in the Telegraph had highlighted how additional home insulation could reduce air quality and that they offered a free air quality measurement service. When I asked which company he worked for, he said his manager would tell me after I had arranged a visit from them. I pushed for this and he hung up.

Claiming to be EE feedback call for my mobile. Epic fail on so many levels not least their shitty VOIP. OFCOM need to shut down the routes used by fraudsters not leave it to sites such as this to highlight their scams.

Caller claimed to be wanting to complete a survey on behalf of Devon and Cornwall fire and rescue in relation to pole tax expenditure. Could not give me details of how he got my mobile number that the council do not have! Therefore this appears to be a scam!
