Fraud; 18/11/2021, 0730hrs female sounding voice calls unsolicited, spoken English, with heavy Indian / Asian accent. Back ground noise, possibly a call centre / boiler room. Female voice informs me of suspicious activity on my Amazon account. I don't have an Amazon account. Call terminates when I ask for an informed opinion on whether wearing stockings or hold-ups on a first date is conducive to romance.

SCAM Caller said they were from Amazon and that I would have a high payment charged monthly (£79.99) unless cancelled and the caller was going to "help me" cancel my Amazon Prime subscription. After some arguing (as she tried to get me to stay on the line), I hung up and checked Amazon website going through their online chatbot. Scam National Insurance Scam saying NI number has been compromised. Automated message, no doubt wanting the victim of the call to press one to be connected to scammers. I put the phone down when I heard the message and cut off the call. Having seen resent warnings about this scam, I was already aware of it. Don't act on the call and hang up. Government bodies don't call people in this way. BEWARE. DANGEROUS.

I have had 3 calls from this number all claiming to BT and requesting I log in for a variety of reasons, first I had a problem with the internet, Secondly they put the phone down when I took the phone from the missus and today apparently my internet was going to be cut off in 3 days. They put the phone down when I requested they tell me what my IP address was. Can t think why. Do not under any circumstances allow them remote access!!!

another annoying call from number I don t recognise, so I don t answer. I get at least 3 calls per day from numbers I don t know. I have a way of blocking these calls, ( which I have had to pay for)but as soon as I do that, another one pops up. SCAM / SPAM Says I’m being sued by HMRC. Says they’re taking me to the court house ???????? that’s an American term. Still, checked with HMRC who confirmed it’s a scam and will investigate.
Rang 11.am 16th March but no answer to my "Hello". Could hear typical call-centre background sounds before the line went dead.
They called saying that they were offering a free loft survey to see whether there was any asbestos there. This seemed to be quite unlikely in my home so I decided it was a scam.

These people keep phoning claiming they are the support for my internet providers. How do I get rid of them? I ask them which IP since I have 3, one of which is a bank, and I have 3 modems in my house. That normally makes them swear at me and hang up. The other method is to ask them which IP they are calling about, and when they say one, true or not, I say that the account is set up with a security word and they must confirm that before I can talk to them. They swear and hang up. They are always from India,
