She started asking why and persisted despite my pointing out that a request for removal should have had her apologizing and leaving. This number is a legitimate business - Home Shield Direct. They sell insurance for various white goods. I have cooker, washing machine and fridge/freezer covered. Had them out to fix all three appliances at various times and service was excellent. So absolutely NOT a scam.
