AFTER I PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND GOOGLED THE NUMBER I FOUND THIS WEBSITE. This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. The person at this number asked for my wife by name and was asking if she was doing ok after her auto accident (which we know nothing about and haven't had). He identified himself as representing "Motor Assist". If you phone the number, it automatically goes to an automated message claiming to be "Motor Assist" and asks you to leave a message.

SCAM, judging by the many comments left on other look-up numbers. At 08:13 a male voice said he was BT Technical Department. We are not with BT so I put the phone down. The same number rang at 08:22. I did not answer it, so after a few seconds the ringing stopped. Many other people have reported the same experience.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17533494xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Accident compensation, PPI, insurance claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
