This number called me this morning with a pre-recorded message apparently from HMRC Tax office stating I was in debt with them and if I didn't select Option 1 I will be receiving a warrant for outstanding tax payment!
Definitely a criminal enterprise. Rang me telling me I should claim the money set aside for me after a crash that they somehow knew I had been in. Very cleverly the got personal details from me including my address, date of birth and national insurance number. They pretend to put you through to a solicitor whilst keeping you on hold for a while... Very well thought out criminal enterprise.. After a couple of days they confirm that you can have the money.. And arrange for a "special courier" for legal docume

Internet Called from BT supposedly trying to tell me that 25 other users on my internet using dodgy website. Spoke to Anna. Sounds like a foreign call centre. Wanted me to install a program so BT engineer could fix the security issue.
Told them umpteen times to stop calling my number and still they phone average two or three times a day - same story nuisance call grrr sick fed up of it.
I was called at 03.18 am .. what a fright and how daring!!

Call received from this number at 19.07 on Monday 15th October. When I answered, no-one spoke, there was a lot of background noise and voices and then "they" hung up!
It's one digit too short to be a genuine UK number and London numbers don't start with 4 - only 3, 7, or 8 after the 020.
Called me to try get my business on top pages of google for certain searches... 17 mins later he got off the phone after politly saying no thanks for a number of times! Talks a lot, and if you call back, call on a witheld number as they can see your number when you call then back to see who it was/ how you can help etc!!

Bellends rang this morning on a bank holiday. When I answered, it seemed to ring at their end then their was a slight pause after which I could hear some background noise like it was a call-centre before it was terminated.
I got an automated call from this numer telling me I was accused of tax fraud and if I didn't press 1, a warrant would be issued and I would e arrested shortly. I think we can safely say this is a scam.
