Said they were calling from Domestic and General - a company we do have an account with already. Said we were a valued customer and had qualified for a discount. Very well spoken male gave his name as Christian informed me my washing machine insurence had expired and he was calling with regard to me renewing it. I was suspicious of this and asked the name of his company which he informed me was White Goods UK. As I have never heard of them I asked which washing machine and he said theBosch. As mine is a Hotpoint I knew he was a scam or fraud. He then tried banter before resulting to cheek when the word police was mentioned I hung up before he could get offensive
