Typical situation. Just one of many numbers calling me that I don t recognise and won t answer so thought I d see if anyone else had already had a call as well.
Gentleman with a northern accent claiming to be our towns child safety officer Telling us how we'd signed up to a child safety booklet to go to our local schools. As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up

Had a call from this number just now. He said that he is from EE and started asking a lot of questions about my contact with EE. The sort of phone I am using, how long the contract is,...etc., I got suspicion because EE should have all those details without having to ask me especially as I am still in contract with them. You say the number is based in Blackpool I know no one in that town. My number is TPS protected - for what its worth and my registration for the electoral roll, restricted.
They called me saying they could handle my ppi claim (I don t have one). They spoke in an Indian accent and when I questioned who exactly they were and who I was speaking to they hung up. Some sort if blatant scam.
