Claim to be fraud squad identifying whether a couple of large transactions were authorised? Asked to press 1 or 2 if you allowed it or not. Never chose anything.

'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! How did they get my details when this is not my phone it's paid for by somebody else 250 miles away. The mind boggles at how much scammery people think they can get away with. SCAM I have this afternoon received a telephone call purporting to be National Grid Meter Department and confirming a date and time to change meter as they said it was over charging. Suggested a refund available since last year of £652.23 Offered a booking slot and advised the new meter number as E14UP04L89. While the call came from 01363 815254 the agent Rehan gave his phone number as 0208-133-0093 Ext 7019. Also requested a photo grab of the meter and copy of last bill. Advised that I did not have a c
