SCAM I had a call from “Carphone” today (number above) and spoke to a guy called “Elliot”, about my contract coming up. It sounded suspicious, so I asked if he could ring me later, as I was busy... I actually phoned Carphone Warehouse on their customer service line (0370 111 6565) and asked if they had tried to contact me today, from the number ending in 038. They confirmed to me that they HADN’T tried to get into contact with me and this number ISN’T on their system

This number called my 93-year old mother-in-law at about 07:45 hrs. She told them that she couldn’t hear them. They called her back a couple of times, and tried to get her to do something on her iPad. She said she’d have to get her son-in-law to call them as she didn’t understand them. They haven’t called again since. Incident reported to local police as a vulnerable person is being targeted. This number has now been reported to BT security who have blocked it nationwide.

Credit check company. Tell them you re not interested and they continue to rant and rave over you. Told them it was an unsolicited call, the female has quoted the wrong law, she said good bye then waited for a response! aggressive mannerisms from the off and seemed to call for an argument!! This company are based in Brighton and are trying to get you to make charitable donations to various charities.... As I already donate to a charity of my choice I do not wish to be bothered by these types of calls. I m also signed up with TPS so shouldn t get them anyway... I found their direct number which is 01273 698697 and asked them to remove both my numbers from their database... Lets see what happens...
