On call back the number given by the caller wasn't talktalk. Feels like a false number was given.

Said they were Talk Talk. No way. Scam call.I rang Talk Talk who confirmed noOne had called me. Beware.

RANG OFF AS SOON AS I ANSWERED

SCAM 01225166596 this number called this morning to say we owed £261.00 and to press 1 to resolve the situation.

This line of numbers ( 01614646xxx) is mostly reported to be used for fake PPI telemarketing, so be aware... I can see at leat 4 numbers from the same range reported here with the same problem, people be really aware of this, if you pick it up double-check all info you provide them with...01614646170, 01614646171, ... all the same call centre.

scam insurance claims

SCAM this number is sending out texts that are a potential scam - just received a message purporting to be from one of my sons. On checking with this website I find this number is in Manchester Uk, as was the number they asked me to WhatsApp. My son, on the other hand is nowhere even close to the Uk.

Called me on my mobile when abroad - I told him wasn't interested and was abroad - received two further calls within 3 minutes

Safety campaign called. Trying to thank me for sponsoring a book going into my local primary school. Was suggesting in excess of one hundred pounds donation. No other info received ever about this. Hung up when asked for further details about campaign. Unf

PPI PEOPLE

Left a voicemail. Irish female accent. Called me by name. Stating “I’m calling from your bank” said it was a courtesy call. I had to call back with details to discuss. Reported to bank and said it would not have been them.

A very elaborate scam. So Good that I wanted to check it for myself. The guy on the phone was very good and only when I asked for their manager and mentioned that no Microsoft branding is in place, that he put me on hold and never took me off. Karnig @ www

Received numerous calls from this number regarding an accident i had been involved in, claiming that i was due compensation due to a personal injury, had numerous conversations with them telling them i was dealing with my insurance company. calls became frequent and abusive with **** on the other end swearing at me and hanging up. Unable to call number back

The number the scammer is telling people to call is our home number. We have been receiving a large number of calls since last Wednesday from various scared and vulnerable people thinking this is true. We have now had to change our phone number to stop the calls. It is disturbing to hear what the scammer is saying to these people. I’ve reported the number to actionfraud.police.uk if you have received a call please report it on this website.
