Fraud SPAM Automated call SCAM Telemarketing This number called our landline today. I opened the call as I saw it was an 020 number and said nothing at all, just listened. It was complete silence which made me suss' it straight away, so I made a noise (not a distinguishable word) and a female sounding voice said something about being from 'Windows and Doors' and 'can we confirm you are the property owner?'. Man with Indian accent asked for me by name, claiming to be calling in relation to DNS mail server problems. Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP. Clearly that wouldn t happen due to data protection so I asked for his company name and contact details so I could call them later. He said i could check them out

This number rang me several times a day. I took the advice of the commenter and rang them back. To my amazement I spoke with a nice sounding person and I asked that they remove my number. Let s hope it works.

Received missed call at 18:50 which in itself is strange for a business. When I called it back there was a Click, and then a holding Jingle music started playing, as if I'd been transferred to another line. I ended the call after about 10secs. I would consider it spam
