Pretended to be BT & said was an engineer called John Morris phoning about our internet being hacked. Said his number was 0203 239 4138 but when checked on ring back it was 01235264789. Hung up when I asked him to put the problem in writing.

WHEN will these B*STARDS GIVE UP?! Had FOUR PHISHING SCAM attempts over a few days All similar numbers-preceded by a scam e mail attempt! They’ve tried EVERY guise/EVERY organisation you can think of under the sun! I REPORT EVERY SINGLE TIME TO COMPANY THEY PRETEND TO BE FROM/ACTION FRAUD AND ICO AND ON ALL THESE FORUMS AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO! Scum as I’m TPS registered and ex directory-JUST WHAT DO ACTION FRAUD/TPS/ICO DO?! They’ve illegally obtained and misused my private details!
Whoever they are they keep phoning my mobile and when I don't answer they immediately call from a similar number. They are very slow to take the hint!

Man claiming to be from Premier Telecom in Kent. It could very well be fraudulent but if genuine they certainly did not bother to check the telephone preference service register. Best course of action is to ignore all cold calls every time.

I was reciving calls from this number and was confused when i saw it was a london chippy. I phoned them and spoke to them apparently someone is using their number to phone people they don't phone people themselves. If you receive a call from this number it is not the chippy staff calling you so be aware.

It is an automated message that states that you are being investigated for tax evasion and if you fail to press certain numbers, you will have an arrest warrant issued for you. This could be potentially very dangerous and the number should be blocked immediately.
