This number is a legitimate business - Home Shield Direct. They sell insurance for various white goods. I have cooker, washing machine and fridge/freezer covered. Had them out to fix all three appliances at various times and service was excellent. So absolutely NOT a scam.
Just had a phone call from this number, the gentleman was rude telling me I'd had an accident and need money, his English was so bad I completely misunderstood him as someone debt collecting on me. When I tried to get him to clarify what he meant he just started swearing and hung up the phone!
I got called by this phone number about times. Once I answered and the voice sounded creepy. I quickly hang up but still I keep receiving calls.
Says from BT wanting to offer me a better deal for broadband and phone line but more expensive than my present plan
