Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.

As in the other comment I was told to ring 01642850850 - this is useless. It asks you to give the name of the person and offers no other option. Since I don t know who called I was at a dead end

PPI call from BPC - Black Pearl Claims. Absolute scam, they ve used several different numbers to call me from, and I ve never bought a PPI in my life. I d love to know who sold them my number since I don t use it when filling out forms and such.

First Assist from York called today, Asked to speak to me (using my FULL NAME), asked who was calling! He said his name David and calling from First Direct and ringing about the injuries I received in the accident I had last year . . cut him short to ask him for his mothers phone number, he ask why. Told him so I could get my son to ring her up and tell her what a con merchant her son is. TOTAL SILENCE . . when to tried to speak again cut him off. Now blocked.

It was a male voice gave me a name but I can't remember it but he mentioned Experian then when I queried why he was calling he said it was about a job???

Constantly calling, dont know name of the company, but they keep persisting and I ve had to now block them

Aggressive call left a message. Computerised voice saying it was extremeley time sensitive abd if i didnt call sarah wilson back i better get ready for action. I was also told to get a solicitor asap.looked on this site and another victim said they called hmrc and its not a call from them.

Rang today couldn’t understand what the woman was saying, as she was possibly of Indian origin and spoke so fast I had to get her to repeat herself 3 times she even spelled out ...

I got a call from 01204509150 for job opening in Singapore and seems to be fake to me so just wanted to check who was the caller

They ve changed thir number it s 02035766662 now I have reported them to police action fraud. Please do the same it ll contribute to building a case against them.

Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.

Despite constantly pressing 9 (opt out) I keep getting calls from this number. How do i make these subhumans stop????

Didn't recognize this number so didn't answer and no message left so assume it's someone selling something or a scam.
